Good design for climate protection
Tala was founded in 2015 by friends at the University of Edinburgh on the premise that good design can help mitigate climate change. From their studios in London and New York, they explore the tension between sustainability, technology and design through lighting. From functional to decorative lighting, the LED illuminants and the associated lights illuminate the interiors of apartments, offices, designer studios, shops, cafes, restaurants and hotels.
90% less energy consumption than a conventional light bulb
The Tala team believes that beautiful objects and efficient technology belong together. The in-house research and development team and technical laboratory combine the best of British design with high quality components to extend the life of each light bulb as long as possible. On average, a Tala light bulb consumes 90% less energy than a conventional light bulb, and it doesn't need to be replaced for 10 to 15 years.
Environmental protection and tala
Planting trees can reduce carbon emissions. For this reason, Tala supports reforestation programs around the world. Choosing Tala lights will help restore a healthy planet for future generations.
