With String Works the Scandinavian manufacturer presents a series of flexible office furniture . Just like the classic shelving unit, the possible combinations are almost infinite.

Designer Björn Dahlström and architect Anna von Schewen have asked themselves: Is it possible to create an office environment that is just as pleasant and stylish as your own home and yet still fully functional?
String shelves have always been as versatile as office furniture. However, String has never had objects designed specifically for work. With the Works collection, this situation changes, because thanks to Dahlström and von Schewen, String's versatility is now also available for the office!

The String Works collection leaves nothing to be desired: From desks to freestanding shelves, the series includes all the furniture you need for office work. Just like the original shelving system, the products can be wonderfully and flexibly combined with each other, but also function as individual pieces - not only in the office, but also in the kitchen, bedroom or wherever creative solutions are required.

Versatile & flexible office furniture

String has placed special emphasis on the details. The desk can be adjusted in height in no time at all so that you can work both sitting and standing. The shelf can be placed on the wall as well as in the middle of the room. The drawer cabinet with castors can be used under the desk just as practically as when it is used next to a seat or on its own.

A point of honour at String: The materials used and the workmanship of the Works collection are of course in no way inferior to the original shelving system. This is why the Works collection can also be perfectly combined with other products from the Swedish manufacturer. And it does so again and again, because the flexibility is second to none.
