Kartell Planet luminaire series

The Planet series of lamps in crystal glass optics is a design by the Japanese designer Tokujin Yoshioka , who has put all his experience in plastics processing into his first series for the Italian manufacturer Kartell. The result is the elegant table -, pendulum - and floor lamps , which are reminiscent of cut crystal glass due to their surface texture.

Instead of crystal glass, however, the lamp is made of polycarbonate, which is processed in various thicknesses to provide a great light reflection and thus sets brilliant accents in any room. The round lampshades have an almost sculptural effect and are therefore a real eye-catcher even when switched off.
