Tradition-conscious tableware collection
The new tableware collection Colore is inspired by Kähler's proud tradition of craftsmanship and the ceramicists who made the very first bowls, cups and plates in the original Kähler pottery workshop. The sense of humanity and attention to detail has inspired the artistic and tactile design of Colore inspired.
The collection beautifully interprets the craftsmanship and ornamentation techniques - an important part of the Kähler DNA - developed for decades by the ceramicists of the Kähler pottery workshop.
Even the glaze used for Colore used glaze is inspired by traditional craft techniques. In the 1930s, Kähler used a glossy "uranium glaze" that gave Kähler designs from that period a distinctive, vibrant and bright yellow-orange effect. A glaze with similar properties is used for the Colore -dinnerware to create a glossy surface that elegantly highlights the details and shapes of the design.
