Series 7 by Arne Jacobsen
With the 3107 series - a design from 1955 - designer Arne Jacobsen created a chair that would make design history. Lightweight, easy to stack and at the same time exceedingly stable, the Series 7 was thus the perfect chair for the living area. But even Jacobsen could not have imagined that the design would become one of the most popular seating furniture of the late 20. and early 2 1. century.
The chair, which has since become a classic, is produced by Fritz Hansen in a wide selection of different colors and bases. This makes the 7 series exceedingly multifaceted. The compression-molded seat shells are available in ten different woods: maple, beech, ash, cherry, Oregon pine, elm, walnut, oak, dark-stained oak or completely stained dark oak. The core veneer is always beech.
The classic to configure
Series 7 is an absolute all-rounder and is available both as a dining chair and as a task chair. The wide range of fabric and leather covers, with which the seat and backrest can be partially or fully upholstered, promise greater comfort. According to your own ideas, the Serie 7 chair can be configured in a wide variety of colors, bases and, if desired, with armrests.
