Grand Prix - Graphic chair design by Arne Jacobsen
Arne Jacobsen designed the Grand Prix chair in 1957 and gave it a characteristic graphic edge. In the same year, it was presented at the Danish Museum of Art and Design's Spring Design Exhibition at the Triennale in Milan, where it received the exhibition's highest award: The Grand Prix.
The famous design chairs consist of a steel frame and are available with seat shells made of different types of wood and in different colours.
