Lamps made of crystal glass
The Noctambule series by Flos is made of hand-blown crystal glass, which is transparent and therefore almost invisible during the day. In the dark, when switched on, the lights become minimalist objects that distribute light in the room in a special way. The French word "Noctambule" fits perfectly with the series by Konstantin Grcic.
The cylindrical glass modules are the basis of the series. A single module is reminiscent of a lantern. Several stacked modules create a light column or a hanging chandelier. Elements such as a glass dome or a conical head transform the basic modules into floor or pendant lamps.
The innovative LED technology is integrated in the connection rings made of die-cast aluminum between the glass modules and, if necessary, in the base. This creates a minimalist, sculptural luminaire that creates a moment of surprise when it is switched on.
