Fermob - designer furniture for the garden
The French company Fermob produces furniture that is as colorful as the gardens. Like the gardens, the furniture is beautiful, cheerful and full of life. With simple mechanisms that make it easy to fold, put away and transport, Fermob furniture is a soft and colorful delight!
For 20 years, Fermob has been developing and manufacturing outdoor furniture with the aim of making terraces and gardens ever more attractive. With collections enriched every year, Fermob furniture outlasts fashions or anticipates developments in the industry to be even more durable. Combining traditional craftsmanship and modern furniture design, Fermob strives to make garden living an art of living in its own right. With gorgeous colors!
Fermob has always attached great importance to the design of its creations, sprouting new trends and creating pleasures and delights. To break more strongly with the codes of the traditional garden, Fermob does not hesitate to collaborate with internationally recognized designers
internationally renowned designers (Pascal Mourgue, Frédéric Sofia, Harald Guggenbichler) who, together with the imaginative in-house design and development office, regularly revise the brand's flagship models.
Outdoor furniture made of metal
Fermob furniture is either made exclusively of metal or is combined with other materials such as crack-resistant technical outdoor textiles (polyester with PVC coating / welded yarns). As a steel specialist, Fermob also produces furniture lines made of aluminum. Whether steel or aluminum, the metal is always of the highest quality. Fermob relies on innovations developed by the automotive industry to enable its furniture to be used in all weathers. The furniture is also protected against corrosion using an exclusive Fermob process in a coating facility that is one of the most efficient in Europe.
Fermob produces sustainably and with respect for the environment
Sustainable development and environmental protection form the foundation of the corporate culture. For Fermob, it is a matter of course to incorporate these concepts into the manufacturing processes, especially as the furniture is designed to stand outdoors, decorating and embellishing terraces.
- Since September 2007, the waste from the outdoor fabrics (Toile Technique d'Extérieur -TTE-) used to make the seats and backrests of some Fermob furniture collections, which are very comfortable and easy to maintain, have been recycled using the exclusive and patented Texyloop recycling system.
- Fermob has been sorting waste at its headquarters and production site for almost 10 years. Fermob was the first company in the furniture industry to sign the VARAPE** agreement.
- Already 10 years ago, Fermob invested in an emission-free paint shop, which today only uses solvent-free paints.
- For 20 years, Fermob's product developers and designers have placed great importance on respecting the requirements of sustainable development, in particular by striving for lightness and by optimizing raw materials and packaging.
