ferm Living - Home design from the north

ferm Living is a Danish company that specializes in the development and production of home furnishings with a graphic touch. The products range from wallpapers, wall tattoos, textiles, kitchen appliances to a large KIDS collection and many more things are to follow in the future.

ferm Living originated from a graphic design agency in Aarhus, Denmark, founded by Trine Andersen in 2005. The company saw the light of day after she visited a psychic for fun. Trine was quite amazed when the psychic saw a small, confused bird sitting on a branch, obviously not knowing which way to fly. This sight was crucial to Trine's decision to follow her dream of owning her own business. After ferm Living was founded, she knew the little bird had found the right path and put it on the company logo.

Worldwide success in just 15 years

The company changed its graphic design-focused business concept to corporate design and lifestyle product sales when Trine was redecorating her home. She was looking for graphic wallpaper, but couldn't find the right pattern anywhere - and similar patterns were far too expensive for her. When she thought that other people probably felt the same way as she did, she decided to make her own graphic wallpaper at an affordable price. In February 2006, the first wallpaper collection appeared and since then things have gone from strength to strength. Ferm Living is now active in many markets around the world and has representatives in Australia, USA, Finland, the Netherlands, UK, Spain, France, Italy, Sweden and Japan.
