The Danish Rikke Hagen, born in 1970, was trained in glass and ceramic design at the Danish School of Design. She leads an own glass studio in North Sealand (near Copenhagen), where she develops successful designs by means of experimental works and the most different methods in glass processing.
Despite her young age, Rikke Hagen’s fresh designs have already been presented on numerous expositions and honoured with numerous awards.
Rikke Hagen designed the cognac and liqueur glasses as well as Double Bowl for Normann Copenhagen. She works for the Danish glass manufacturer Holmegaard among others since 2001. Here she designed beer-glass series and the vases and candlesticks “Groove” among others.
