Pierre Favresse was born in the French city St. Naziare in 1979.After his graduation in Arts and Furniture Design and five years of cooperation with Mathieu Lehanneur, he founded his own design studio in 2010.
Pierre Favresse is art director for Habitat today. He is attracted by the thought of designing according to the guidelines of industrial production. The designs by Pierre Favresse are characterized by the connection of handicraft and industry, while the results always act balanced and reduced.
