The glass designer Per Lütken (1916-1998) initially learned paintings at the School or Arts, Crafts and Design. From 1942 to 1998 he worked in tight cooperation with the Danish company Holmegaard.
His philosophy is: A feeling for glass. A feeling for the glass manufacture. A feeling for the demands of people.
This device is displayed in several works that have been designed by Per Lütken during five decades for Holmegaard.
Per Lütken created about 3000 glasses and takes an unique place in the Danish glass-design of the 20th century.
