Patrick Nadeau studied product design as well as architecture, certified. He lives and works in Paris.
He began to intensely research contemporaneous design on a studies trip to Kyoto in 1996. He founded his own design office in 1997; there he works at projects for architectural, design and environment shaping reasons as well as garden design.
With this unique approach, he develops projects for customers such as Boffi, Hermès, Kenzo Parfums, Louis Vuitton, Festival des Jardins de Chaumont-sur-Loire (annual exposition for contemporaneous garden-design), the city of Rennes or the Salines Royales d’Arc et Senans.
With the very personal exposition Nature individuelle-Patrick Nadeau in the “Sabz” showroom in Paris in September of 2008, he presents the interdisciplinary and open character of his work. The designs emphasize that Patrick Nadeau focuses on balancing vivid (plants) with natural and people created things.
Patrick Nadeau is the founder and leader of the “végétal design” workshop at the university of Art and Design ESAD (Ecole Supérieure d‘Art et de Design) in Reims. He teaches at the private academy for design and interior design Ecole Comondo (Les Arts Décoratifs) in Paris and is a member of the Jardiland Institute invoked Observatoire des tendances du jardin (“observatory for trends in the garden”).
