Marcus Hofbauer - Less is More
Marcus Hofbauer, born in Mainz, Germany in 1967, is an architect and designer. In addition to the designs of houses, other projects in the field of Interior design and product and furniture design are carried out in his own office. His products, which he designed for various clients such as Jan Kurtz, include dressing rooms, garden furniture and small accessories.
From 1988 until 1995, Hofbauer studied architecture, at first in Kaiserslautern and then at the technical university of Darmstadt. Since 1998, he has worked as an independent architect in Mainz after working several years in another architecture office.
Marcus Hofbauer designs according to the principle "Less is more" - you can recognize the minimalist style in both his houses and his furnishings.
