Rough and straightforward - these are the characteristics Lex Pott uses for his own designs. And that's no surprise, because the Dutch mainly works with wood, stones and metal.
Already during his studies at the Academy of Design in Eindhoven, Lex Pott supported famous designers like Hella Jongerius and Scholten & Baijings. After graduating in 2009, he continued working there, even though he already had his own design studio in Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands.
Just as straightforward as his choice of material, is the design of Lex Pott who was born in 1985: Pott tries to reduce his designs to their essence without hiding the peculiarities of its construction.
