Jan Christian Delfs (1977) completed his Industrial Design studies at the Muthesius Arts University Kiel in 2006. He also worked as freelance for Ostwalddesign and as industrial designer in Hamburg since 2001. In 2005 he taught at the Muthesius Arts University Kiel and founded his own design studio jcddesign. Jan Christian Delfs won several design competitions, such as the “Toshiba Contest”, the “WMF Design Contest” and the “Braun Award” and his pot-trivet Mister X is already in production by Auerhahn. Since 2005 he designs products as free designer in his own design studio in Kiel.
