Henrik Thygesen and Sebastian Jørgensen are two Danish product designers, who committed to sustainability. They work with traditional materials and contemporaneous solutions in the team.
Henrik Thygesen is the founder of the company We do wood, which he manages together with Sebastian Jørgensen. He is responsible for production and research. As trained furniture carpenter, he focusses on simple, resistant furniture pieces with clever constructions.
Sebastian Jørgensen is the responsible designer and creative director in We do wood. Jørgensen’s design is embossed by his artistic background, but without losing the simple traditional Scandinavian handicraft arts.
Both designers have a very sustainable approach together: Only natural materials are processed in their common company We do wood – which are treated with careful methods. Both Danish believe that design is more than only aesthetics and function – it is an attitude.
