Torsten Thorup (born in 1944) and Claus Bonderup (born in 1943) both finished their studies at the Danish architecture school in the year 1969 and entered the architecture office from Henning Larsen.
Nearly the whole working career these two architects worked together. They designed clocks and shop inside furnishing for Georg Jensen, the Museum Arcticum in Finland and the docks in Helsingör from the city-construction-planning to the fair-terminal among other things together.
Torsten Thorup founded his studio Thorup Architects in Copenhagen already in the year 1968. Here he works in numerous disciplines like city planning, building projects, inside architecture, furniture and industry design. The office works in Europe, Asia, America and Australia for the projects. Many of the Torsten Thorup Architects products were already honored with numerous awards and they are seen in many museums all around the world.
