Aurélien Barbry

Aurélien Barbry has an impressive career, working seven years as a designer for the French superstar architect Jean Nouvel on projects like the new concert hall for the Danish Radio in Copenhagen and Institut du Monde Arabe in Paris among other things.

When flipping through his portfolio, famous brands like Alessi, Unifor, Ercuis& Raynaud and Matteo Grassi pop up. Lately a few Danish brands have joined them: Carl F., and now Georg Jensen. He has almost designed everything. From hotel rooms and show rooms to furniture, kitchen utensils, vases and doorknobs, the ones in the new radio concert hall.

Fredericia In 1911, Fredericia was founded as Fredericia Stolefrabrik (Fredericia chair factory) by the entrepreneur N.P. Ravnsø. Meanwhile, the company is directed by the family Graversen and produces Danish furniture of exceptional quality.
Georg Jensen Georg Jensen Living transfers fine design to everyday life objects with materials such as stainless steel, wood and aluminium. The classic Northern style combined with their function in everyday life transforms these things into art objects.
Le Klint The lights of the Danish design manufacturer Le Klint is characterised in particular by their elaborate manufacture of lampshades that are folded and shaped by hand.
Normann Copenhagen Normann Copenhagen has been founded in the year 1999 by Jan Andersen and Poul Madsen. The idea behind Normann Copenhagen was and is still to establish a new design approach.
