Gian Franco Gasparini is a doctorate architect of Florence. Besides his work as industrial planner, the Italian leads an own design studio together with his wife Anna.
Gasparini taught industrial planning at the ISIA in Florence. This work made him focus more on the wide public, so that he wanted to improve communication projects. This is the reason why Gasparini founded the institute Università del Progetto which focuses on design and communication. As a consequence, the Italian designer started to lead design and communication projects for namely international companies. Together with his wife, Gasparini founded the Architettura della Comunicazione office later on, focusing on design and communication.
Gasparini’s counselling work and the creation of Corporate Identities soon led to cooperations with Alessi, Barilla and the Walt Disney Company. Besides these duties, Gian Franco Gasparini designs products on his own today; they are often related to his passion for cooking.
