Shortly after his graduation in industrial design, in 1998, Benjamin Hopf and Constantin Wortman founded the Büro für Form in Munich.
Since then, they have continuously been searching for the “poetry of forms” with the mix of organic and geometric lines.
Their designs display a kind of humour and follow a modern style. A special focus of the design studio is on shaping furniture pieces, lamps and accessories, but they also design classic industrial products. The Munich could meanwhile win numerous prestigious design awards (among others the Form Design Award 2003, the Design Plus Award 2004, the If Design Award 2005). Alexander Aczél entered the Büro fur Form in 2001 as „Head of Graphic Design“.
Benjamin Hopf left the office after nine successful years and founded his own office in Munich. Constantin Wortman is the main responsible for the design of all products since then. All products by the Büro für Form, developed between 1998 and 2006 emerged in cooperation of both designers.
