Iconic forms with perfect proportions inspired Enzo Mari for his collection della Natura. Six motives emerged along the years for the graphic series by the Italian designer, three with animals and three with fruits as symbols. The art edition of Danese Milano brings back the classics.
Natura is an example for beauty and elegance. The harmonic proportions and the iconic strength of the images let the viewer interpret every possible thing in every Enzo Mari creation: Apple and pear might represent male and female, sin and temptation, Yin and Yang. Despite (or just because) of the versatile interpretation possibilities, the design always remains clear and reduced, and this is how the motives of della Natura are suitable as wall decorations for living rooms, children rooms, offices or public rooms at the same time.
Enzo Mari created his della Natura graphics in the 1960s and 1970s with the demand of producing motives that would be relevant then as well as in 300 years: Nature as timeless source of inspiration and beauty.
