Connox donates 5,000 Euro to the Welthungerhilfe

The Connox GmbH thanks all customers that participated at the Christmas-charity!

More than 1,700 customers supported the Connox charity for the Welthungerhilfe (World hunger help). With a mouse-click they could donate 2.50 Euro at every order in the Online Shop (www.connox.com) from the 1st until the 30th of December. The Connox GmbH took the payment of the whole amount, the customers themselves didn’t have to pay.

The charity should show that one can achieve a lot with small amounts: if everyone helps a little, a great amount comes out at the end. A total of 4,320 Euro were collected in this charity. The Connox GmbH management decided to round the amount up to 5,000 Euro.

The money went to numerous help projects of the Welthungerhilfe all around the worls. The Welthungerhilfe helps out of first hand since 1962: from a fast emergency help after catastrophes until long-lasting projects with indigenous partners. “We are glad if we caught some customers’ attention with our charity, encouraging them to donate and get to know the Welthungerhilfe’s work”, said the manager Thilo Haas.
