Glass and marble provide visual lightness and sensual heaviness. A nostalgic and modern look at the same time. The LED illuminant is a spare part for the Amp light.
Simple, oval shape of the Amp luminaire
The idea for the shape of the amp lamp was born when designer Simon Legald was restoring an old radio from the 1960s at home. While searching for a spare part for the radio, he noticed the shimmer of the tube amplifier. The simple, oval shape and the lampshade refer to this - as does the name Amp, the English term for tube amps. The proportions of Normann Copenhagen's amp lamps are carefully worked out.
