The Crate Dining Table from Hay . The Crate Collection was originally created in 1934 by Dutch architect and designer Gerrit Rietveld to reuse surplus wooden transport crates. It was relaunched in collaboration between Rietveld Originals and HAY reissued. While retaining the integrity of the original design, the Crate Dining Table is characterized by precisely balanced proportions and a transparent construction, strategically minimizing production costs and optimizing the assembly process.

Available in two different lengths with a rectangular table top and diagonal crossbars, the table embodies simplicity and a spatial design in keeping with the designer's architectural principles, offering functionality and comfort without taking up excessive space.

The Crate Dining Table is made of solid pine wood and finished with a water-based lacquer in various color options and is suitable for a variety of outdoor areas.
