Extendible Wall Lamp by Le Klint
The extendible wall lamp Sax by Le Klint inspires by a classic look and elegant features. Like an accordion, the lamp can be pulled out and pushed in again, depending on from where the light is needed.
The lamp was designed in 1952 by Erik Hansen, who was looking for an appropriate lamp for the bedroom. He and his wife simply couldn’t find the right reading lamp for the bedside table, and so Hansen simply built it himself. Today, the Sax lamp is a classic among the wall lamps by Le Klint.
Materials, Colours & Sizes
The Sax luminaire is available in various types of wood. Since 2011, in addition to the original shade by Hansen, the light can be equipped also with the Snowdrop Lampshade that was specially designed by Harrit Sørensen + Samson for Le Klint. The lamp shade can be mounted above or below the telescopic arm and the arm is available in various lengths.
Non-Glare and Diffused Light
The lampshade is very decorative, but also ensures a pleasant non-glare and diffused light, which gives a pleasant homely atmosphere to any room.
