Table lamp with rising steel wire frame
The Wire table lamp, designed by Verner Panton in 1972, is part of an originally extensive series of table and floor lamps. Today, Verpan produces the table lamps true to Panton's designs from chrome-plated steel wire and a hemispherical lampshade made of plastic. The light source (E14 for Ø 30 cm or E 27 for Ø 40 cm) inside the construction is surrounded by a metal reflector that directs the light to the inside of the shade, creating a diffuse light.
The steel wire frame, which rises cylindrically at the base, winds upwards to form an open hemisphere on which the hemispherical plastic shade rounds off the spherical look. The table lamp, which imitates the iconic shape of a light bulb, is available in two sizes. Verpan offers the Wire table lamps with a transparent cable (L 220 cm) with on/off switch.
Each Verpan product is supplied with a certificate of authenticity. This certificate guarantees that it is an original product that is still manufactured by Verpan today according to Verner Panton's strict quality specifications.
