Table lamp made of Japanese rice paper
With the Formakami JH18 table lamp, Spanish designer Jaime Hayon was inspired by the typical Japanese lanterns made of rice paper and interprets them in a contemporary way.
Traditional design in Asian style
The combination of delicate, traditional materials and a modern, minimalist form makes the Formakami JH18 a unique luminaire with Asian and Scandinavian influences. The bulbous shape and the production of thin rice paper give the lamp an airy, light appearance that blends into any ambience. Black rings made of lacquered ash wood also set high-contrast accents.
