Iconic table lamp of Italian design
Vico Magistretti's Atollo is more than just a lamp. Atollo is an icon, a myth and one of the best-known symbols of Italian design of the 20. century. The Italian company Oluce has been producing Atollo in various sizes and versions since 1989.
Designed by Vico Magistretti in 1977, the small table lamp received the coveted Compasso d'Oro award just two years later. Atollo was subsequently included in numerous permanent collections of the world's leading design museums, where it can still be found today.
Design from geometric shapes
The combination of different geometric shapes gives Atollo its characteristic appearance and makes it unmistakable. The cylindrical body of the luminaire rests on a circular aluminum base, which is rounded off by a semi-circular shade.
Each table lamp is fitted with several light sources, making it a fully illuminated sculpture. Atollo produces direct and diffuse light.
