Miss K was designed in 2003 by Philippe Starck for Flos. The table lamp provides an indirect, diffuse light from high-quality technopolymer. A special aluminium process and colours create the lamp’s typical hues and illumination.
Miss K was awarded the Red Dot Design Award in 2004. The whole body consists of transparent injection-moulded PMMA (polymethylmethacrylate), the internal diffuser consists of opaline injection-moulded PC (polycarbonate). The external diffuser is made of injection-moulded PC (polycarbonate); the inner surface was given an aluminium coating with a special vacuum process.
There is a dimmer with a transparent housing on the two-core transparent cable to regulate the light strength from 0 to 100%.
