Description

Table lamp with attractive lampshade

Pao is the result of an exciting collaboration with established Japanese designer Naoto Fukasawa. Named after the soft, luminous shape of traditional Mongolian Pao tents that are illuminated at night, Fukasawa sets out to represent the same atmospheric warmth and friendliness with the Pao table lamp.

Pao exudes Fukasawa's aesthetic of beautiful simplicity: Creating an everyday object based on design values that exist in the natural world. By relying on a simplistic aesthetic, it reinforces the primary intention of creating a pleasant atmosphere. The lampshade, as well as the LED light source amplified within, form a clean, uninterrupted visual identity. Made of high-quality opal glass, the lamp offers a high level of functionality for a variety of spaces.
