By refining and updating a classic workshop light with advanced LED technology, w162 Dalston high quality lighting without putting itself in the spotlight - unless the users want it.
Building on the robust reliability of its predecessors, the new Dalston through durable materials and an intelligent construction. The die-cast aluminium LED unit - which also serves as a heat sink - is attached to the separate screen made of polished steel. This is presented with the same colour on the inside as on the outside without affecting the light quality.
Large-area, glare-free light for private and commercial use
w162 Dalston's integrated COB LED light source, combined with a reflector and diffuser, emits a warm white light that is evenly distributed over large areas, making it suitable for use not only in private living or dining rooms, but also in open plan offices or restaurants.
Thanks to the deeply recessed light source, the luminaire offers highly efficient glare protection, even when suspended high up. The designers behind the design are Sam Hecht and Kim Colin.
