Glare-Free Pendant Lamp
The PH 3/4 is a lamp designed by Poul Henningsen. The lamp has a three-piece shade made of aluminium, achieving an iconic and timeless look. Based on the principle of a reflective three-shade system, the pendant lamp gives off pleasant, glare-free and diffuse light, which is predominantly directed downwards.
Lamp Design from the 1920s
Already in 1925/26, Poul Henningsen designed the 3-piece shade. The model PH 4/3 pendant lamp was launched in 1966. It was created according to the same principles as the other lights with 3 shades – that is the logarithmic spiral, with the light source located at its centre. To achieve a diffused light, the inside of the shade segments were lacquered in white.
Depending on the area of use and desired light intensity and temperature, the lamp can be equipped with an E27 socket light bulb of your choice.
