The result of this experimental work is the feminine shape of Caravaggio.
Steel with Enamel Lacquer or Opal Glass
The lampshade for Caravaggio is made of curved steel and has a glossy or matte enamel finish. A hand-blown opal glass lampshade is also available.
The technology and construction of the suspension system appear somewhat masculine, forming a harmonious counterpart to the feminine lines of the shade.
Curved Steel and Spun Brass Parts
The suspension system is made of bent round steel and spun brass parts that are subsequently chrome-plated.
The shade is pulled down low enough so that the lamp, irrespective of its height, doesn’t glare. As Caravaggio has an opening at the top, light is also emitted upwards, lighting up the suspension system and cable.

The Caravaggio P2 pendant lamp by Fritz Hansen is also available with a 6m-long cable.Caravaggio can also be ordered in the smaller P0 and P1 versions or the larger P3 and P4 variations.Furthermore, Fritz Hansen offers Caravaggio as a table or floor lamp.
