FL/Y is a versatile pendant lamp based on a design by Ferruccio Laviani. The original design from 2002 is now also available in a smaller edition. With its pointed light the pendant lamp illuminates living room areas, kitchenettes or dining tables - individually or combined in a group of lamps.

Transparent or Opaque

The FL/Y lamp by Kartell is available with a dyed, transparent lampshade in different colours as well as with an opaque lampshade in different colours. The transparent version is reminiscent of the lustre of soap bubbles. Airy, light as if floating, that’s how the FL/Y lamp presents itself in a wide variety of shades: from sage green to cardinal red and teal green.
In the opaque version, the pendant lamp is surrounded by white, copper, gold or chrome. The lampshade is opaque in these versions, which concentrates the light even further.

Pendant Lamp for the Living and Dining Rooms

The FL/Y pendant lamp by Kartell is especially suitable for illuminating living and dining rooms pointedly. The adjustable pendant height can be adapted to tables of all types. The lampshade or calotte on the FL/Y pendant lamp isn’t perfectly spherical, which is why the cut height is a bit below the diameter. This is how the emitted light is better concentrated to illuminate the space pointedly.

Colours and Shapes in Big and Small

The FL/Y lamp is a popular design by Ferrucio Laviani, which in addition to the smaller version is also available as a larger model and additionally in a wide selection of colours. In addition to soft watercolours and the classic black and white, the large version of the lamp is also available in elegant metallic tones.

The pendant lamp looks appealing when presented in a group of different sizes, colours and editions, brightening living rooms and dining rooms.
