Pendant lamp of the Gräshoppa -series
The first designs of the Gräshoppa -series by Greta Magnusson Grossman were already created in the 1940s. However, the Danish-American designer has yet to create a pendant luminaire. Gubi transfers the iconic design for the ceiling.
While the Gräshoppa floor lamp is now a household name for design lovers around the world, Gubi is reissuing the table lamp and the pendant lamp from the 2013 collection. The special feature of the Gräshoppa Pendant Lamp: Magnusson Grossman never designed it. Since the sculptural lampshade of the Gräshoppa never been found looking up, Gubi has transferred it to a different context as a pendant light.
The stylish timelessness and design lightness naturally also work on the ceiling. The Gubi Gräshoppa pendant luminaire, like its siblings, the floor lamp and the table lamp, also looks completely contemporary today. Made of powder-coated aluminum, the lamp casts direct light and is therefore particularly suitable for the dining or living room table.
