Pendant light made from hemispheres
The pendant light Butterfly by Toni Rie for Frandsen consists of three half-domes arranged in an inverted manner. The spherical shapes of the half-domes create an interplay between the round lines of the luminaire. The upper dome has discrete holes to allow the soft light to spread upwards, while the frosted surface of the lower dome emits an atmospheric and soft light, creating a great illumination for a variety of settings. The luminaire Butterfly is available in a variety of colors, all inspired by natural materials and an enthusiasm for the Nordic design language. Toni Rie has taken inspiration from the colors of leaves on trees and reeds on a lakeshore. The colors are slightly frosted and give the pendant lights a soft and inviting appearance.
