Reduced, minimalist pendant luminaire
The Smithfield series was designed by Jasper Morrison for Flos in 2009. The series includes various pendant and ceiling lights. All lights of the series Smithfield series speak Morrison's typical design language - reduced to minimalist, timeless with clear lines.
The Smithfield pendant luminaire is a hanging lamp with direct light and is therefore ideal for illuminating a dining table. It is available in three different versions: one for halogen lamps and a dimmable as well as a non-dimmable version for compact fluorescent lamps.
Made of aluminium and polycarbonate
The body of the Smithfield consists of polished and painted aluminium. The injection-moulded lampshade is made of opalescent methacrylate. The ceiling fixture and suspension cable are made of steel. The three-core power cable with double insulation is made of PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) and has a usable length of 270 cm.
