Pendant luminaire with floating light panel
The Frisbi Pendant light from Flos is reminiscent of a floating and glowing frisbee. It owes this effect to thin steel cables, through which it is attached to the actual lamp. This luminaire body shines on the one hand directly onto the disc below it and on the other hand through the hole in it. This creates not only direct light, but also diffuse and reflected light - a unique sight.
1978 designed by Achille Castiglion, the Frisbi Pendant luminaire today are well used in public spaces such as restaurants and galleries. But it also looks great over the dining table, the kitchen island or in the living room.
Acrylic glass and steel
While the pane is made of opal-coloured acrylic glass, the body of the lamp is made of chrome-plated pressed sheet metal with a glossy white paint finish on the inside.
