Pendant Lamp as a Tribute to the Moon
For more than two decades, inventor and designer Alexander Lervik has combined concept design with unusual innovations. For Design House Stockholm, he designed a simple pendant light, which on closer inspection is actually a tribute to the most original light sources of all. For any doubters left out there, the name also confirms that the Luna lamp was made in the image of the moon.
Made from Glass and Transparent Acrylic
Alexander Lervik created Luna for Design House Stockholm, a pendant lamp that casts no shadows, only continuous light. Other pendant lamps are often interrupted by metal or plastic covers for the cables, while Luna is completely made of glass and even the cables and the acrylic suspension allow the light to shine through. The minimalist light comes into its own above the dining table as well as a ceiling light in the hallway or living room.
Luna is transformed into a sculptural and extraordinary pendant lamp with the separately available Cosmos holder, also designed by Alexander Lervik.
