Elegant and feminine pendant light
With its elegant, feminine shape, the Audo Dancing pendant light is reminiscent of the eponymous dress worn by a dancer. Despite its playful curves, there is not one line too many on the luminaire.
The Copenhagen-based studio Iskos-Berlin is responsible for the design of the Audo Dancing pendant light. The two designers Boris Berlin and Aleksej Iskos have a penchant for unusual materials, and there is also a deeper meaning behind the Dancing luminaire: "Design is about telling stories. The clearer a story is, the more likely people are to understand it. The more surprising you make the story, the more likely people are to remember it. And the more people smile, the more likely they are to love the story!"
The subject of this story for the Audo Dancing is the fact that the pendant light is made of PET felt. PET felt is a 100% recyclable material made mainly from used lemonade and mineral water bottles. Iskos-Berlin's palpable fascination with environmentally friendly materials points to the future and addresses the issue of sustainability in a self-confident manner.
