Excellent luminaire design
Inspired by typical workshop luminaires, the May Day lamp was designed by Konstantin Grcic for Flos in 1999. Behind the simple and plain design of the luminaire hides a true multi-talent, which was awarded the Compasso d'Oro in 2001 and included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
Multipurpose lamp with long cable
In principle, the multi-purpose lamp from the manufacturer Flos is used wherever it is needed. When working on crafts, you can carry it by the multifunctional handle or hang it from it, or you can wrap the cable around the handle and place it next to you. It cuts just as good a figure May Day but also in all living rooms as a simple pendant, ceiling or floor lamp, while the 485 cm long cable offers maximum flexibility.
Equipped with an E27 socket, the Flos lamp can be equipped with a suitable bulb up to max. 60 watts and thus be used both as a reading lamp, work light or living room lighting. Also available as outdoor variant .
