Floor lamp in 40s design
The forerunner of the VL38 floor lamp is a table lamp, originally designed by Vilhelm Lauritzen together with Louis Poulsen for the new Danish Radio building. The new edition is introduced under the name VL38 floor lamp and is part of the Louis Poulsen series of the same name, which revives the design of the 1940s with elegant retro charm.
Adjustable, glare-free floor lamp
The VL38 series is based on the original designs from 1938. Thanks to the combination of powder-coated aluminium and brass, this simple, functional and elegant luminaire series captivates with its timeless beauty. The base as well as the swivelling lamp head are made of aluminium and then painted, so that the lamp emits a pleasant glare-free light that can be adjusted if necessary.
As part of the VL38 series, the luminaire is available as a floor, table or wall luminaire for different living and application areas.
