Chinese Hat Floor Lamp
The 9602 floor lamp designed in 1938 by Gubi, also known as the "Chinese Hat" was designed by Paavo Tynell for a hotel in Finland. It is characterised by an airy lampshade that has a flat conical shape which is, as the nickname suggests, reminiscent of the Chinese rice straw hats.
Made From Brass and Rattan
The foot and stem of the light are produced from brass. The stem is wrapped in rattan. The mix of materials makes the lamp a particularly beautiful and timeless object for the living area. Here, the lamp with the cone-shaped shade ensures soft ambient light. The shiny tip of the lampshade, which is also made of brass, is a beautiful detail.
The floor lamp is available with different lampshades.
