The PC Double Arm LED by Hay is a refined and precisely dimensioned lamp with a distinctive design. While the lamp arms are made of aluminium, the lampshade is made of polycarbonate.
Inside the arms are gas springs, which are otherwise used in the manufacture of office chairs. These ensure that the base and shade hold the desired position. The combination of all these components gives the lamp a functional and simple appearance, every office table in scene.

An integrated touch dimmer allows the light intensity to be adjusted as desired. In addition, the dimmer has a function that remembers the last set brightness when switched on again.

The story behind it is a long and slow transformation process. Everything happened step by step. It took almost three years . Today, when we look at the drawings we have made up to the final state, it almost feels like a Darwinian evolution. _{Pierre Charpin}
