The portable Bagdad Portable rechargeable lamp from Gubi reduces the original 1954 design to half its original size. The more compact shape not only lends the iconic lamp lightness, but also makes it particularly mobile: the reduced "tail" serves as a practical handle to move it easily - whether inside the home or outside, where atmospheric light is needed. The shadow cast by the lamp is created by three folded and welded steel parts, which together form a geometric 20-sided shape. Each of the triangular sides can be used as a base so that the lamp can be positioned either upright or at different angles - depending on the desired effect.
