Elegant Table Lamp with Glass Diffuser
The Buds 2 table lamp is a design of the Italian designer Rodolfo Dordoni, who is responsible for the entire Buds collection by Foscarini. As for the Buds 1 and the Buds 3, Dordoni relies on a soft, gentle form of the mouth-blown glass body. It doesn’ only impress by its bulbous ball shape, but also by the special colour scheme - white inside and coloured outside - with which the light attracts everyone's attention. The shiny surface of the glass sets high quality and pure accents that enrich classic as well as modern interiors.
Direct Lighting
Through an opening on the upper part of the luminaire, light can be bundled and shine directly upwards while diffuse and warm light comes through the glass body.
The diffuser resting on a transparent, cylindrical-shaped foot made of plastic, makes the lamp appear almost weightless. This creates a form that features simplicity and purity and gives a fine appearance to the lamp.
The Buds 2 is suitable as a desk lamp, but also cuts a good figure on the bedside table or as discreet floor lamp. Regarding the colour you can choose between a white and a grey variant.
