Design table lamp with organic, flowing shapes
Nessino is the reinterpreted and updated version of the famous Nesso table lamp by Italian lighting manufacturer Artemide . The lamp was designed by Giancarlo Mattioli and the Gruppo architetti urbanisti citta nuova.
The classic Nesso table lamp was awarded the 1. prize at a design competition in Milan back in 1965. The new interpretation Nessino brilliantly expresses the modern zeitgeist of the 1960s. The rounded and organic design of the lamp evokes associations with a mushroom.
Nessino provides direct and diffuse light. The light passes through the mushroom head and is colored, while it shines downwards directly onto the base. The body and shade of the luminaire are made of polycarbonate. Nessino The luminaire is operated with four light sources so that the entire shade of the luminaire is illuminated.
