The Siena tray by Alvar Aalto is the perfect complement to textiles from the classic Siena collection by Alvar Aalto.
Alvar Aalto designed his Siena pattern in 1954: a design, which appears architecturally clear as well as weightless. Aalto’s basic idea was to create a pattern for textiles, which would be useful for different purposes – Aalto’s second wife Elissa even had a dress in the Siena design.
The Siena trays are available in two sizes and are made of laminated plywood veneer. Thanks to the timeless Siena design, the trays can be combined wonderfully with other products from Artek’s abc collection, e.g. kitchen textiles.
