The teapot warmer "keep'ot!" reminds us of a cozy campfire on which the tea is kept warm. Christoph Matthias, an industrial designer from Munich, designed this product. The pieces of wood of the "keep`ot!" teapot warmer have been made of oiled walnut and are linked by stainless steel mountings that hold a tea light and the flask. The “keep'ot!" warmer is set up simply by turning it.
The warmer has a height of 11.5 cm and a diameter of 24 cm. It is produced by the Wendelstein Workshops in Rosenheim. For more than 25 years, these workshops have been offering workplaces for disabled people in Rosenheim and in nearby Raubing. In the “Kompass” workshop, mentally handicapped people are responsible for products like this teapot warmer or the chopsticks “Chop-Pin” by ‘side by side’.
